We customize Lexus’ Newest addition to their SUV lineup with full Chrome Delete, Wheel and Tire upgrade, and more.
We started by dropping the headliner to remove the factory roof rails, and worked our way down to remove the rest of the aluminum and chrome trim from the car. This included the front “mustache” and rear badging. The chrome trim around the windows was wrapped with gloss black vinyl. We tinted the windows to get rid of that fishbowl look, and then swapped the boring factory 20″ wheels for some 22″ Asanti Black Label gloss black wheels and wrapped them with some Nitto NT420V tires. Upon re-assembly of the now painted factory trim, we also added some sporty roof rail cross bars that we sourced from a Toyota dealer. Lexus doesn’t offer cross bars, but we did find that the Toyota counterpart Grand Highlander did have cross bars that would fit.
